A Seattle Artist Set on pushing the limits

“I’ve never enjoyed the constraints of any one discipline. My remaining choice is to explore the infinite possibilities of creativity.”

An Introduction

I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. I was afforded incredible educational opportunities because of my test scores, but never liked sitting and writing what the professor wanted. It’s not like I drew in my notebook all day either. I just sat and thought. Obviously, that didn’t contribute to an adequate adaptation, and I barely made it to where I am now. I have had constant mental health struggles, but they have afforded me a place to live, and a small amount of income to feed myself. The time I have is an incredible opportunity to practice as an artist, and the people in my life support me in all sorts of ways. My goal is to start selling my art and make a living. I have had an amazing life, full of inspiration, and I have a genuine drive to make an artistic contribution. I will write more about myself on my “About Me” page.

What I Do

Since the COVID-19 lockdown, I have been disciplined at painting. I started with portraits, and expanded into anything relevant I could come up on a weekly basis. I always try to capture what I mean instead of what could hit a lower mark. I do commissions, and sell finished works. I have sold paintings on the street, and have left paintings around town as an anonymous gift. I just want people to have my art, and to have the story attached.

What Seattle means to me

I stay in the city because I could easily lose myself if I relocated. My condition has me seeking services every year, but I love the city. I have lived in almost all of the many neighborhoods, and I’ve been to many of the schools. I love that people try their hardest with themselves to have a life of meaning; an inner struggle that doesn’t bother anyone else. Everyone is fighting a battle here. I can almost see it in everyone I walk past. Tourists come here to see interesting people, and I am one of them. I relocated to Fremont to have housing, and I befriended many homeless and uprooted people. After everything, I now live in the heart of the city. I have been friends with every kind of person, and have many people who have been with me through it all.
